It’s Easter Sunday and all I can see in the internet as
well as on the streets is this egg things. But since I am not interested on
that, I took my self relaxing on what free time I have, and what kind of
available resources there is.
Relaxation is essential to the body and mind. This heals
both our physical body as well as our mental health with various practices that
one could do by himself. Yes, you don’t need to go to spa or somewhere else,
just to get that relaxation that you want. You can do things that can make you
feel relaxed.
This is the things I did to make me relaxed even just for
a day.
1.) 15 Minute Yoga
in the Morning
We all know that we don’t need to go to gym for a yoga
class. You can teach yourself yoga even at your own room which I am doing for about
a month now and I could say that it helps me work well at the morning and helps
me to breathe easily. It’s a good way to relax and sweat in the morning just in
case you are lazy enough to get a run in the morning.
This way, we can also meditate that helps us ease anxiety
and some related illnesses. Doing this 15 minutes a day can help us become fit
and at the same time healthy.
There are many Apps on Android that you can download for
free. I use Daily Yoga to learn yoga in different sectors and I am using
flexibility Yoga Class from that App.
2.) A Talk with
Friends
Humans are one social animal and we almost cannot live
without socialization. So I took this time to call my friends and some of my
relatives over the phone and catch them up. Share what’s going on and tell
stories. You can get fresh perspective while keeping a strong connection with
them
3.) A Good Music and a Tea
Put on a warm chamomile tea and a soft music to boot. Not only
that we can relax our brain on it, we also have some sort of entertainment for
ourselves, just make sure to drink your tea warm before you snooze out
listening to that good music you have with you.
4.) Do What You Love
If you love writing and reading like I do, then you can do it
in your own space in your room, or find something cool and bright to do the
things that you love. If Gardening is your hobby, then you can fiddle around
the garden and do some watering by you, you’ll be freshening up the plants and
your mind as well.
5.) Don’t forget to
Smile
Positivism can help us relax our own mind, and when we
are happy, we can relax by happy thoughts and when we relax, we rejuvenate our
body. So smile, don’t be grumpy, that can make you look ugly. Just smile and
enjoy the little things.
Make some time for yourself every now and then. Take a
breather and be happy. Don’t forget to smile and do the things that could help
you relax. Do some meditating and relax everything on you, It’s healthy.
