There are many articles on the internet on how we can start being organized. There are those who gives out tips on what we should do to our to-do lists and how should we do it. There are also articles that tells you on how to keep your work place clean or not. We all get it, once we work in a desk, there are times that the inevitable will happen, a pile full of things to do and what not to do.
Yeah, I get it, we all have a great start on how we should do it. But keeping them might be another story for some. I experimented some things in and around on how I could keep myself creative and at the same time clean with all the notifications and keeping up with my to do list.
1.) Regular Cleaning is a Must
We have finished this task and the other needs to be scheduled in another date we are free. But what's this? There are some clutter that it leaves behind it adds up with the mess that you have in your work place. It's time to remove all those clutter now.
This includes files that you haven't been used for almost a few months now. Think about it, are you going to use it for future? Or it's just going to be a reference? Then separate it from your main documents and put it into your reference folder so that you won't have to see them anymore when you are looking for something.
This is the simplest form of getting yourself organized but many of us tend to forget with all the workload and pressure that we are having. But keeping it mind isn't hard too.

2.) Filter Things that is Important

When we are searching for a particular file, we tend to use filters to make our search faster, but with all the information that we all receive in everyday basis is just too much. But there is no such thing as information overload. It could be just a poor information management of weak filter system that we put into our brains.
If we learn how to keep different information into different places at the same time, then we could actually do our work better. It is just like doing what is hard first thing in the morning and do the easy part or easy things first before the hard ones. You decide what to do first and what information goes in and out into your head. Make sure that everything that goes into your brain is the one that is more important than the rest.

3.) Don't Overdo Things
Sometimes, too much is bad, everything have a limit on what we can do. If you feel that you can get things done quickly or can see yourself have an easy access to all of your files, then don't fret over making yourself more organized. Searching for more tips to keep yourself more organized will just waste your time and energy. Since most of the times, you can only find same things over the internet, and most of them are basic know-how to be organized. Just don't fix what isn't broken.
These points are simple but was always seem to be forgotten. But with a simple reminder every now and then, I know that people who are having a hard time to keep themselves organized all the time will have no problem to continue being organized just by following this simple steps.
