Filipino Singers on Youtube that Covers Vocaloid and Anime Songs

Filipinos are best at singing and dancing and other cultural and theatrical arts. This can be seen by the great singers we have in our OPM lists and other Singers that have a Filipino blood in them in other countries like Jessica Sanchez, Jasmine Trias, Charice, Bruno Mars, and Allan Pineda Lindo – Known as apl.de.ap. No one can deny that, even the world.

But the topic I am going to post is that, the singers that I found that can almost equal the ones who are singing on radios or in the television on singing terms in their own genres. Covering mostly of Vocaloid songs, these singers have good voices and can make their own arrangements for their cover.

I found at least 12 of the singers, thank you for their different collaborations with other singers that cover anime or Vocaloid songs, and to Youtube and utaite.wikia.com. But I'm going to feature eight of them. So let us start these up!

1.) Apol

One of the singers that I like because of his voice very much the same as mine but with a higher pitch,  Apol (アポル) is a YouTube singer with a boy-like voice and capable of hitting high notes. He also sometimes screams in his covers. However, he stated that his voice doesn't fit soft songs and therefore wants to cover more rock songs. He is also a well-known Vocaloid producer for composing English Vocarock songs such as Waiting for You. However, Poison and Divide is the first Japanese song he composed. Aside from that, he also does guitar covers and dances.

And oh, he is currently in a relationship with another youtube singer named Haru which will be our next singer on the number.

2.) Haru

Haru is a YouTube singer that can sing from a cute, clear tone to a smooth, sweet voice and capable of singing many different types of genres of music. I like her cute voice especially the song of collaboration with her boyfriend Apol “Kirai Sukki”. Haru, as she sings, makes me want to hear more of her voice. Maybe I got the feeling of falling in love with her. LoL.

3.) Kitsi

KITSI is a Filipino YouTube singer. She is always up-to-date with the new anime songs and she has done collaborations with other singers that cover anime and Vocaloid songs too. Kitsi didn't start to upload Japanese songs before; she first uploaded her Filipino dub songs, giving her thousands of Views at first. Kitsi is an otaku who is always present at Anime Events (PH). She also has another Youtube Channel, which is shizukahana08, where she uploads some of her covers.

I love this cover of hers. Her voice sounds almost the same as the original singer of the song, and I love it.

4.) Beibi

Beibi also known as Jhona is a YouTube singer, who often covers anime and JPop songs. She rarely covers Vocaloid songs. Especially the first years she covered songs, she didn't cover any Vocaloid songs. She has a powerful and well-balanced voice. She won the 2nd Jpop Singing Contest 2010 with the 1st place. She only uses the basics on sound recording echoes, reverbs, equalizers and such.

For singing one of my favorite songs, and singing it with heart and with a shot, I really loved her for that. Her voice is beautiful for a low and mid-middle tone, don’t you agree? Check out one of her videos to “Mr. Music”

5.) Sagara Yoru

Sagara Yoru (相楽夜), mostly known as Yoru, is a Filipino YouTube singer with a gentle voice which lies in the mid-ranges. He uses Adobe Audition 3.0 to mix and he uses “Adobe After Effects” to animate. With his soft voice, his acoustics are good and fit in very well. And I give him two thumbs up mark. :D

I really love his voice and how they blend in most of the emotional songs. I wonder he gets the feels when singing it. It sounds really genuine.

6.) Kuri~n

kuri~n is a Filipino YouTube singer. Her voice is in the mid-range, but she can reach high notes as well. She mainly covers Vocaloid songs. Her first cover was of "BPM", which currently has over 1,000 views on YouTube. Her first hit cover was of "Rolling Girl" with over 23k views. And oh! She says she loves Panda!

Even though most of her covers that I found are of shorts versions, I still love the way she sings and the quality of her voice, especially to the song above. Mellow and sad that you can feel even without the video showing up to show what is happening.

7.) Ehmz

Ehmz is a youtube singer which is classified as androgynous because of his genderless voice which can be high and sounds like either a boy or girl's voice. He has good vocals that someone can like easily. Though most of her diction can be noted when singing as an obvious Filipino singer. And he has been producing a good music using only a headset microphone especially when he recorded a cute song entitled "pon pon pon ".

Overall, because of his style and voice, he definitely is a good singer we can be proud of.

8.) K-Chan

K-chan has a sweet and clear notes, with a high pitch voice. But that makes her depicted as a cute singer. Apart from her Vocaloid covers, she has also covered songs from anime, cartoons, K-pop (although the last two are found off of YouTube.) And one of the surprising facts is that she was just about 16 or 17 years of old! Go with the beautiful voice!

Thank you Apol for giving me additional singers and I love how they sing and their voices too! Especially Kran, Kano, Kenta, and Vinar. Well, I could be happy if I would be able to listen to more great singers like them. :D


Whatever language the Filipino people use to sing, we can still hear the quality voices of our fellow countrymen and women. Either their voice are only for acoustic, rock, as a diva, a cute one or a normal but powerful one, we still have our talent in our blood showing that where ever we are, what kind of song you sing, we still have the blood to be a great singer.

Let us not just support the ones who we see on the televisions and on the radio but also to these great singers that make covers and translate some of the songs into Tagalog or English.
