I always have the greatest respect for those with whom I form a contract.
~ Maou ~
Here on the third episode of the anime, they are initiating their plan to diminish the problem on hunger that is happening in the setting especially during winter. And to do that, the Maou and Yuusha first asks the aid of the church since the church is where most of the influence came in that kind of age. The episode also introduces that the merchants/entrepreneurs are one of the most powerful characters in the world.
Lesson 1
I guess all the humans, from nobles, to serfs, are very devout.
~ Maou ~
This does not apply in this modern world I guess, but to some point, we all believe in a deity that we call "god" right? There are numerous religion around the world raging from belief, philosophy and faith. We humans really rely if not all the time, sometime in our spiritual guidance from above. So in the sense, those who believe are devout. The lesson on this quote? Since we are all a believers of a faith even though it is different from each other, we must give respect to all of it. And continue to believe on what we know is true, and use this belief to help one another and not to wage trouble with each other. These religions are made to make peace and influence people for the goodness, "we should not use religion as an excuse to use it's influence and power to corrupt and destroy each others, even if it comes to politics."
Lesson 2
So don't hide your personality
~ Yuusha ~
Sometimes, people tend to hide who they really are just to fit in the world because if they don't they might not get accepted by the majority. If you are like that, guess what my friend, you are not just lying to the society but you are also lying to yourself. Nothing good will happen if you hide under your costume. What's worst that could happen is that, when you are found out, few of your friends will only stay.
The good thing to do is to show the world who you really are, we have that kind of freedom after all. Do not be afraid of being rejected, they could just not understand you and know you. Be proud of who you are.
Lesson 3
~ Maou ~
Maybe one of the most important reminder for all of us that the anime had offered. Respect. If only all of us knows how to respect not only the others but also to yourself, we could get along pretty well right? Respect is needed at all times especially when we are in a contract or in a deal. In this way, we could have a good relationship on who we made a pact from.
So that was all to it for episode three. It just not make us aware of things around us but it also remind us to be also aware of what values we should keep and put it into action. Let us talk, what can you say about the lines of the different characters that is present today?
