Everyone is built to play an instrument or two and everyone can learn it. Even as an adult or later on your teenage years or your adulthood stage, you can still play a piano or a guitar fro your own hobby.


Learning to play an instrument later in life can improve your mental and physical health. Since playing music can make you do things like memorizing the lines or the keys of each instrument, it can further develop your brain's activity and boost your memory. Just like sports, music can make you socialize and go out often to meet people with the same interest and socialize with them thus improving your physical contact with others and releasing the sense of pleasure for both long term and short term activities.

Musicians also break a sweat especially when they are practicing for a certain music or instrument they want to master as well as to further develop their capacity to play an instrument. Take a trumpet for example. People who play a windpipe or woodwind instrument tend to jog every morning to increase the wind capacity of their lungs to improve their playing ability with their instrument. There are many benefits that instruments can give to our physical health that is why, it is a great addition if you want to be fit.

To reap the benefits of playing an instrument, you must select an instrument that you like and know that you will be comfortable with. There are many ways to learn an instrument on your own if you find hiring an instructor expensive. Take me for example, I learn how to play a piano and guitar only by watching YouTube videos and reading different tutorial. That is one easy way for you to learn. Set up your instrument near the computer and start playing on how the video plays and practice it until you master 
Another tip that I could give you out  is with the use of another modern technology today. Downloading different music tutorial apps on you smartphone, whether you use android or apple, there will always be one app that will help you practice for your new hobby.


One of the most traditional way of learning an instrument is through socializing. If you have a friend that knows how to play a certain instrument that you want,
then you could at least ask a favor on that person to teach you at least the basic of the keys or how to play a song. In return, you could treat him with snacks or little trinkets that will surely be liked. It is like hitting two birds with one stone so they say. It is both socializing and learning at the same time. It could also lead to further development when the both you plays the same instrument.
