Besides blogging, another form of writing in the online world is creating and sharing your stories with different sites on the web regarding that kind of work. There are multiple websites like Wattpad, Figment, Authonomy and many others. I also write on Wattpad about my fantasy and long thought stories about an adventure.
Well enough of that, I explained some of it in my previous posts: "Experiencing Writing a Story on Wattpad"
It’s Day two and if you want to read my Day One, You can check my Post “Anime Rush.” One of the things that give me happiness as a Wattpad writer is that to receive comments, may it be bad or good comment, and votes.
Why? Well, having someone to vote for your story means they liked it and your thoughts and ideas bear a good fruit and is liked by other people too. It also gives the chance to notify the other Wattpad members or even their friends on Facebook that they found a good story. A vote is somewhat like praise or a motivation for writers.
While on the other hand, comments on Wattpad or even at other reading and writing websites is something like a feedback or what your readers thought about your story. Just like in blogging, having to converse about something of same interest can give various good effects for both people so it is like a win-win situation.
What more, the more votes, readers and comments that your story has on Wattpad means that your story can go up the ranks on being a good into awesome stories. And if your story is a real hit, then you may end up having to catch the eyes of a publishing company just like some of the stories here in the Philippines that were already published. One of them have a movie now and it receives kind of good feedback from the viewers.
It’s not I am aiming to make my story to be on movies even on indie films.
