It was our second day at Vigan and we just had a good breakfast served by Villa Angela. It was a simple Filipino food, not that extravagant but it was delicious! Well, yeah, their longanisa is as what we expected it should be. We had a great sleep, and yes, there was no ghost on the hotel. The place was fairly fresh and it got a cool feeling in it, despite that we had stayed there for summer. But still, it was morning so we didn’t feel that heat as much as we are going to have later on that same day.
It was early, but we took our time selecting for a souvenir that we will buy. There are different shops at Calle Crisologo, but almost all of their wares are the same. There are unique ones, but they are way too expensive for the tight budget that we have. So we took our time selecting for an “I heart Vigan shirt” as well as something that we could use, not for a display type of souvenir
We also had a “Kalesa” Ride and the name of the Horse was Vice Ganda, copied from a famous comedian in the Philippine television which was pretty cool. The guy who drives the “Kalesa” was good enough to tell us some historical facts and points about Vigan. As well as the watch tower that was used during the Japanese Invasion, what happened on Vigan that time. I didn’t memorize everything he had to say since I had no interest in history, but still, it was pretty cool of him to say something about the place.
After that, there really isn’t that much place to go since we still want to discover places out of Vigan and we went to La Union to look for a resort since Villa Angela doesn’t have a pool. So we checked out and drive our way to La Union where we tried to look for a good resort that has a pool and at the same time near the beach, of course, with a good price where have given a tight budget to spend for a night and for the food.
We tried different places like Costa Villa, Thunderbird and many more, but they didn’t catch up to our taste for different reasons like, they are the same with the resorts back at Bolinao, the pool was small enough, the rooms are small for a family set and the place was not an ideal location for us. So we tried searching for different signs for the resort, and we found one place. It was Final Option Resort and as the name suggests, it was our final option to stay with. I could say that they serve well and the pool was just enough for a few people to swim.

We took the rest of the day there to relax as well as to enjoy the remaining hours of our summer vacation.
