It has been four long months since I resigned from my previous employer that taught me a lot of things about Compensation and Benefits in a private setting. Been through different seminars that talked about the benefits of private employees here in the Philippines. And I really learned a lot, and I say that these settings are introduced in college, but they never explained or discussed how it is done.
Nevertheless, I have been looking for a job to sustain my law school, which was really hard to get by especially if you don't have the money to buy books for you to look into the lesson well. I was barely surviving back then, but I gave up my work to focus on adapting the environment to being in law school and also to focus on bar subjects that I took up, which by the way, was the most basic data on being a lawyer.

And, so back to the job hunt. I know a lot of people can relate to me in this matter, especially those who are just a new graduate who is looking for experience. But the problem is, I have the minimum qualification of work experience but the thing is, most companies are looking for someone who has the commitment to work for them in longer hours, paid overtime or not. They are also looking for someone who will fit in their work schedules of Monday to Saturday from 8 in the morning until t in the afternoon. And that was the ones that I have been lacking since I have to concentrate on my studies too.
Some people who interviewed me isn't happy to hear that I have to cut my time on the work in office if ever I get hired, but most people express that they wanted me to be in their department, only the thing that keeps them from hiring me is the schedules of their work time crosses the schedules on my studies. Well, isn't that a bad thing is it?
Where Do I Look For Job?
If you are going to ask me that question, I believe that Jobstreet can help you in that matter as I have been using it since I was looking for an internship, there are also a different way to look for a job. Some come in the form of socializing or networking, and sometimes, the old traditional way, the walk-around-Manila-to-look-for-a-job which I suggest you don't do that in this technological era.

Don't Lose Hope!
Sometimes, Job Hunt can be stressful and depressing after experiencing different ways on how companies tell that you weren't able to get the job. From telling you directly, or telling you to wait for a phone call or whatever method. Don't lose hope. Sometimes, the game mode life selects for us is in hard mode, but take every rejection on the interviews to make yourself better in the next interview, and when you beat the hard mode, you can have the privilege to tell yourself that you beat one level on hard mode that life gave us.
