Everyday Cheap Tricks

In these hard times, it is better to be spending less than feeling sorry. Like many of people out there, I have been taken care of a mother who is very practical and really hate to spend money as much as possible. She said that we should always find an alternative way on things just to prevent us from spending money. Food, books, and many more, we learned that there are always a way to pinch up the hard-earned money from our parents.

Here are some simple tips to stretch out your money just a little further.

All in the House

1.) Drop the Last Energy of Battery

After you take a dying battery out of a high power gadget, try putting it on a low-energy appliances or gadgets like a TV remote control or even on a clock. But never mix old batteries with new one. Better yet, to really save up expenses on these batteries, invest in rechargeable batteries.

2.) Give everything a Second Chance

There are countless items inside the house to give a proper recycling and to give them another life, another purpose:
Save up plastic bags like the ones you get from groceries or from shopping. These plastics can be used when it is needed by the kids from carrying things like projects or any other items or, it can be used as liners for a small trashcan or wastebasket.
Ice cream containers can be used as containers for storing different items. Just make sure you clean them thoroughly.
Coffee containers can have a new life by making it a container for different spices or for different kitchen ingredients to minimize the space in your cupboard.

Shopping Goods

3.) Shopping Once a Week

Shopping what you need once a week can make you list down all the things you’re going to use. Saves up gas, money and important time.

4.) Buy a mix of Ripe and not so Ripe Fruits and Veggies

In this kind of buying, you can already eat the ripe fruits and then during the week, you can eat those fruits and vegetable that had ripened recently. And

5.) Use Fast-Food Finds

Use those salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, ketchup, hot sauce and many more to be able to use them later at home instead of tossing them out. After all, you can request a little more condiments while at the restaurant.
